Visited with the 2-person voucher last night. The meal started with lobster soup, with was canned soup with 2 bits of lobster in each bowl, filled with MSG. Then came the mussels, which were rather small. The foie gras was also of poor quality as all I could taste was pure fat. The entree pig hock was done pretty well though. We enjoyed that dish the most. We also had a striploin steak entree. Can't even tell whether the steak was fresh, as all we tasted was really strong bad quality wine within the meat. Did they marinate the steak in wine for days? It just tasted weird. The meal finished with tea and desserts. The dessert was tiramisu type of cake with good presentation. Overall the meal was OK for the price with voucher. I wouldn't buy again though as the food was not up to par with my expectations. It's too bad because we have been to the restaurant for lunch and dinner before, and food was always pretty enjoyable with reasonable prices.
