The rice at the ring of the bowl was crispy. However the price is simply too high for basically a big bowl of rice with minimal meat and vegetables. Won't be back.

We went twice and can't get enough of the tongue sandwiches! We also tried their smoked meat and roast beef sandwich. Roast beef is supposed to be one of their more famous items but it tasted terrible. The restaurant itself is filled with old movie posters and pictures. We tried their grass jelly, tofu, chicken wings and drink. All the items turn out quite delicious. Funny the waitress chased after me as I headed for the washroom just to confirm my order. Will be back!

We ordered a fruit plate and it was pretty tasty. The shop was small though and we had to share table. Will be back for more.

We were able to choose our drinks with the voucher, but not the cake. We were simply given the default cheesecake. The drinks offered at this location are not as good as the ones available at their other location at Highway 7/Rockwell. We prefer to visit the Rockwell location for our drinks instead.

Food was decent. No MSG was the main reason we visited. The free soup was too salty. We enjoyed the ribs a lot though. The frog dish was refreshing as well. Will be back!
